Application FAQs
Each year at Brain Camp @ UCSF we receive numerous applications from highly qualified students from across San Francisco/Bay Area public schools. While we believe that experiences like Brain Camp should be available to all students from underrepresented and/or underserved backgrounds, our camp can only accommodate a fraction of those who apply.

We hope that you are interested in applying to our program, and that you read our application FAQs below to learn more about how you can complete a successful application.

Applications open Feb. 1st
Acceptance decisions sent April 15th
Deadline to accept offer May 15th
Applications due March 15th
Tips for a successful application:

  • ​submit your application by the application deadline
  • make sure your application is written clearly
  • take some time to think about your short answer responses - we pay the most attention to these!
